Why Do Some Men’s Penises Curve Or Bend Like A Banana When They Are Erect? – Part 2.
This is the concluding part of my last post on this same blog, Why Do Some Men’s Penises Curve Or Bend Like A Banana When They Are Erect? – Part 1.
In that post, I promised to offer some factors that are responsible for the curving or bending of some men’s penises. I also promised to offer some solutions to such challenges.
Watch out as I commence the fulfillment of my promises.
Like I mentioned in my last post, penis curvature can be completely normal. In other words, it can be totally normal for a penis to have a mild curve.
Why Do Some Men’s Penises Curve Or Bend Like A Banana When They Are Erect? – Part 2

When Is A Penis’s Curve Said To Be Mild?
A penis is said to be mildly curved when its curve is 30 degrees or less, not painful to its owner, especially during sex, and one whose condition is not worsening.
“If somebody has a 10-degree curvature, it will have little impact on function. But when you get to 30 degrees or more, that’s when it starts to become significant,”.
If the angle is big enough, sex can be impossible.
The Good Side Of A Penis With A Mild Curve
Interestingly, a curved and non-painful penis may look ugly, physically speaking, but not completely ugly in usage.
How?
Dr. Michael Reitano, a sexual health expert, says that a curved penis can be beneficial for some positions, depending on your partner.
During heterosexual sex, the G-spot requires “direct stimulation” to achieve orgasm, which a curved penis (sometimes) can achieve more readily than a straight shaft.
“The penis is designed to glide efficiently in and out of a fairly pliant, lubricated canal. It’s very efficient in terms of easing entry, and the result is a male climax and ejaculation,” says Dr. Reitano.
“However, from the recipient’s perspective, the friction created, while pleasurable, isn’t focused on the point most responsive to sexual stimulation,” explains Dr. Reitano.
“That area is the clitoris, which actually runs along the anterior or front wall of the vagina back to the pelvis.”
“An upwardly and slightly curved penis allows it to move efficiently in and out of the vagina while, in certain positions, focusing the tip of the penis on the sensitive area of the front wall,” notes Dr. Reitano.
The Bad Curve That Needs Care
Some men, as I mentioned earlier, do have a slight curve in their penis.
As long as such a curve does not cause them pain nor interfere with their sexual performance, it’s okay. They shouldn’t bother nor consult a doctor about it.
However, there should be a cause for alarm if a man develops a more serious bend in his penis, and if such a serious curve causes him pain, as well as interferes with the discharge of his sexual obligation to his partner.
The major cause of a curved penis that causes its owner some pains, as well as interferes with his ability to have good sex, is called Peyronie’s disease, PD.

What Is Peyronie’s Disease?
The word ‘Peyronie’s,’ is pronounced ‘Pay-ROH-neez.’
Peyronie’s disease is simply a noncancerous condition resulting from fibrous scar tissue that develops on the penis and causes curved, painful erections.
It can also be defined as an acquired, localized fibrotic disorder of the tunica albuginea resulting in penile deformity, mass, pain, and, in some men, erectile dysfunction.
This disease or disorder is named after Francois Gigot de la Peyronie, surgeon to King Louis XIV, who in 1743 described “rosary beads” of scar tissue extending the full length of the dorsal penis in a treatise on ejaculatory failure.
Peyronie’s disease causes a significant bend or pain in most of its sufferers.
How big a problem Peyronie’s disease poses depends largely on how much the penis is bent.
Erectile curvature can vary greatly from man to man. You could have Peyronie’s disease with a curve ranging anywhere from 15 degrees to more than 90 degrees.
What Is The Cause Of Peyronie’s Disease?
The exact cause of the disease is not known with certainty.
However, it is suspected to be caused by several different causes, including an injury to the penis and/or genetic factors.
Because its real cause is not known, it is most likely not to go away on its own.
What You Should Do On The Suspicion Or Confirmation Of Peyronie’s Disease
If you’re a boy or a man and you experience pain in your penis, or your curved penis is increasing in size, as well as interferes with our bedroom-play, please, do yourself a big favour by visiting the hospital and consulting a doctor, for possible diagnosis and treatment.
If you’re a girl or woman whose boyfriend or husband is confirmed to be having Peyronie’s disease, please advise him to see his doctor for help, as soon as possible.
Whether you have a Peyronie’s disease or not, I enjoin you to find time to read more about it at other serious online health tips Websites, including Up To Date, Mayo Clinic, and Health Line.
