Can Anyone Really Tell If A Girl Or A Woman Is A Virgin? – Part 2.

Can anyone really tell if a girl or a woman is a virgin?

According to the medical professionals I spoke with on this topic, the answer is NO!

Like Dr. Nerdlove told us in the first part of this story, no ordinary man or woman can look at a girl or a woman in the face and tell whether she’s a virgin or not.

That is why many people adopt different ways of examining or testing for the virginity of a girl or woman.

A ‘virginity test,’ for your information, is the practice and process of determining whether a girl or woman is a virgin; that is, whether she has been involved in sexual intercourse or not.

I’m going to share, with you, the commonest virginity test that I know and have heard of, and after then, I’ll tell you, what I feel is the most realistic way of knowing about the virginity of a girl or a woman.

1. The “Fresh Chicken Egg” Test

There was a notorious girl around my neighbourhood when I was growing up in the late 60s and early 80s.
She was rumoured to be promiscuous and was always seen in the company of boys.

This forced all the mothers around my neighbourhood to warn their children to be very careful of her, with a view to avoiding her bad influence.

When the news of her promiscuity spread and raged like a wild-fire in the Harmattan, the girl’s mother, with the support of her father, decided to carry out our village kind of virginity test on her.

She was confirmed to have failed the virginity test after a fresh egg of a chicken inserted into her vagina went through freely without any hindrance.

2. The “Two-Finger Test”

The “Two-finger Test” involves testing for laxity of vaginal muscles with a finger.

A doctor usually performs this type of test by inserting two fingers into the female’s vagina to check the level of vaginal laxity, which is used to determine if she is “habituated to sexual intercourse.”

3. Stiff Interrogation

Stiff interrogation, as the name suggests, is a forceful interrogation of a girl or a woman to know whether she’s a virgin or not.

This usually happens when a girl or a woman is suspected to have been involved in sexual intercourse and is denying to have had sexual intercourse.

None of the above three methods of testing for the virginity of a girl or woman is realistic.

The only realistic way of knowing whether a girl or a woman is a virgin or not, that I know, is by allowing her to speak on it volitionally.

Whatever she tells you, in that circumstance, should be the final word!

This will however depend on whether she wants to be honest or not.

In other words, there’s really no sure way to know whether a girl or a woman is a virgin unless she decides, out of her own volition, to tell the truth, and nothing but the truth.

Why Most Virginity Tests Are Fault-prone

a. Doctor Exam Myth

Some people believe that an in-depth vaginal examination by a medical professional can confirm whether a girl is a virgin.

This is not true!

An examination by a doctor cannot confirm if a boy or a girl has had sex in the past.

This is because every woman’s body is so different.

b. Intact Hymen Myth

The hymen is a thin mucous membrane of skin that surrounds or partially covers the opening to the vagina.

During sexual intercourse the hymen can sometimes break and tear, causing some pain and light bleeding, but many girls don’t have this happen at all.

Some people believe that if a girl’s hymen is intact, she is still a virgin.

This, again, is not totally correct.

Do you know why?

Because while some girls or women’s hymen may remain intact for a long time, that of others can break through a lot of other means, including vigorous sports like riding or gymnastics, using tampons, or through growth and development of her body, without them having sexual intercourse.

c. Bleeding After ‘First Time’ Myth

Some people believe that all girls will bleed the first time they have sex.

This is not true for all girls and women.

It really depends on a girl’s physical makeup, her level of arousal, and other factors like using lubricants.

If a girl’s hymen has already been stretched through the use of tampons or even masturbation, there is less risk of bleeding during first intercourse.

Each girl is also born with a unique hymen and vagina just as each boy has a unique penis.

Some girls will bleed when they lose their virginity while others will not.
